Contract triage with Vern
Our contract AI reviews against your firm's own clause library and precedents. Flags deviations, drafts redlines, summarises position. Runs in iManage or NetDocs - never leaves your tenant on privileged matters.
We've shipped enough in legal that the brief writes itself. Recognise any?
Each one outcome-priced, fixed scope, live in weeks. Pick one - or stack several with a fractional exec running point. If your problem isn't here, we'll still scope it.
Our contract AI reviews against your firm's own clause library and precedents. Flags deviations, drafts redlines, summarises position. Runs in iManage or NetDocs - never leaves your tenant on privileged matters.
From client enquiry to file open in hours, not days. Conflicts checked across DMS, time-recording and ledger in one pass. Engagement letters drafted in your house style. Integrates with iManage, NetDocs, Leap, Tikit and Aderant.
Amlio in legal mode: ID&V, sanctions and PEP screening, beneficial-ownership unwind on corporate purchases, source-of-funds against bank statements and gift-letter analysis. CQS / SRA-defensible audit trail.
Internal copilots fine-tuned on your firm's letters, precedents and historical advice. Drafts correspondence, summarises bundles, runs DD checklists. Privileged work runs on-prem or in your private VPC.
Reconcile what fee-earners actually did (DMS activity, emails, calendar, calls) against what they recorded. Surface the gap, narrate it, let the fee-earner accept or reject. Plugs into Carpe Diem, Intapp Time and 3E.
Ongoing cyber leadership against the SRA's cyber resilience expectations, Lexcel and ISO 27001. We sit alongside the COLP / COFA on board reporting. From £1k/month.
No "rip and replace". We integrate with the DMS, practice management, time, e-billing and AML systems UK law firms run as standard.
A 140-fee-earner UK regional firm with strong commercial, real estate and dispute resolution practices. Commercial contract review was eating two partner days a week per team. The firm had trialled three off-the-shelf "legal AI" tools - all three flagged hallucinations on real matters and all three were quietly switched off by the senior partners within a month.
A fixed-scope, fixed-fee 6-week Vern pilot at £18k to ship one workflow: commercial contract triage for the real-estate team's standard leases. The deal - if it didn't pass the senior partner's bar, no rollout. If it did, we'd quote a fixed scope for the rest of the commercial practice.
A Vern-based contract reviewer trained on the firm's own clause library, precedents and house style. Every input was grounded in the firm's iManage history - not the open web. Outputs included a clause-by-clause deviation report, suggested redlines, and a confidence score per finding. Every output linked back to the firm's own source documents. Privileged matters ran on a private Azure VPC; everything else used Azure OpenAI with zero retention. Code in their tenant. Full IP transfer at week six.
The real-estate pilot ran for five weeks before the firm signed a £74k rollout across commercial, banking and corporate. Six months in: partner-level review time on standard contracts had dropped 64%. The freed partner hours went to two new advisory mandates the firm previously couldn't take. No hallucinations escaped the reviewer dashboard - the audit trail logged every model call, every source citation, every fee-earner sign-off. The COLP signed it off as Lexcel-compliant in the same quarter.
"Three vendors had told us their legal AI was safe. AssurePath were the only ones who built it inside our DMS, on our clause library, and showed us the audit trail before they showed us the demo. That's why we signed."
Different matters demand different boundaries. We default to whichever your sensitivity policy requires - and most firms run a mix.
Self-hosted Mistral, Llama 3, or a fine-tuned open model on your own hardware. Nothing leaves the firm. The default for criminal defence, family, restructuring and any matter where 'cloud' is a hard no.
Azure OpenAI in your tenant or AWS Bedrock with private endpoints, both with zero retention. Data stays in-region, never crosses to a vendor's training set. The most common pattern for commercial work.
For low-sensitivity drafting and admin tasks: Azure OpenAI with logged, signed-off prompts. Cheaper, fast, but bounded. We tell you when this is the wrong choice for the matter.
